• Origen: The Howlite we have is sourced from South Africa. It is a white or grey mineral with a porous and often veined or web-like appearance. Howlite was first discovered near Windsor, Nova Scotia, in 1868 by Henry How, a Canadian chemist, geologist, and mineralogist. Geologically, Howlite is formed in evaporite deposits that result from the alteration of volcanic ash. It is commonly found in association with other minerals such as gypsum, calcite, and quartz.

• Meaning: Howlite is a beautiful and calming gemstone known for its calming and soothing energy, similar to Magnesite.
